What I do not provide...
As the client, you are responsible
for adding products, providing images and text, managing customers, fulfilling orders, etc.
Product photos
You will be responsible for uploading the product images and thumbnail images used on your site. I do offer optimization and uploading services for a very small fee.
Data entry
You will be responsible for adding product information and details to your store and/or converting and importing
your existing product database. I also offer this service at very affordable rates.
Additional sub-pages and site content
Every storefront comes complete with a number of added web pages such as an "About
Us" page (or similar), FAQ page (or similar), privacy statement, terms & conditions, etc. If you
need additional pages above and beyond what I already include, these can be provided
and integrated within your store. The rate will depend on your overall needs and requirements.
SSL Security Certificate
You will want to make sure that your site is secure so that people feel comfortable when shopping with your store. Whether through Verisign, Thawte, GeoTrust, or another third party, I will help you obtain your security certificate. If I host your web site on my servers, I will install it at no charge once you purchase the certificate.
Web Hosting and Server Management
You must have a UNIX, Linux or Windows host server complete with Perl, MySQL, and PHP support before I can complete your
storefront. I can provide a complete list of server requirements for you and your web host if you request it.
Ready to get started?
Once underway, the process will begin with an initial consultation so that I can gain a better understanding of your company, products, target audience, desired features and online goals. I would then get right to work and handle everything from design to database development to final eCommerce integration.
Once ready for launch, which is generally 2-3 weeks away, you can add your products and start selling! Customers will be able to shop for the products they want, pay securely online, and have full confidence in your ability to deliver thanks to an inviting and user-friendly interface.
